Financial Independence and How I lost ONE MILLION DOLLARS at the Stroke of Midnight!

Happy New Year, today is January 1, 2012 – the beginning of a New Year and I sure as hell started my New Year off crappy… hopefully that will mean it will end with a blast. I was supposed to go to New York and watch the ball drop… however I didn’t have a date, and would have been the 3rd wheel to a married couple, no big deal, but the more I thought about it… that wasn’t the trip I had envisioned. Me watching others kissing as the New Year started and reminding me how ‘single’ I really am…

I do have a lover… of course, and this ‘lover’ checks for me on so many levels and basically spoils me rotten, however he has some serious commitment issues and he doesn’t honor me enough to claim me as his ‘girl’ today –and we have plenty of history — so imagine how insignificant that makes me feel, especially when it comes to holidays. and I spend most of them alone, and he is working on some plan… And to make matters worse, I don’t believe he is exclusive with anyone except me. .. but who knows, men you can never trust them anyway, right?

Next after I got over all of my drama about being “single”… I decided I would go after-all, then, I started to feeling icky; maybe it was a subliminal thing, because I don’t think I really didn’t want to go anyway. Then, next on the list, I lost ONE MILLION DOLLARS AT THE STROKE OF MIDNIGHT!

You see, I was slated to start the year off participating in a 2% bonus pool as a Platinum with the Global Information Network. Guaranteed to receive at least ONE MILLION DOLLARS over the next 5 years and if you break that down to a monthly stipend that is $18,000.00 a month… and on the last day of the year… that dream or part of my plan was shattered.

In order to qualify for the bonus, we had to meet certain very lax qualifications, and I feel short.

One of my partners had set up payments to be made on January 4, which would be 4 days to late – which showed me how much of a moron I have for a business partner. And also just how off track my life really is.
Again GIN teaches that when things show up that are not of our ‘wanting’ then it is showing you exactly what you need to correct in order to be, do and have all that you desire, so instead of getting sad, or depressed… get angry and do something about it… which is my plan, but still it does hurt.

As I ask myself, how did I let this happen? How did I lose the chance at ONE MILLION DOLLARS pay day through the course of 5 years, slip through so easily…? and here is my search for that answer.
This year I said I was going to blog every day and just be brutally honest about the course of the events in my life. And for those of you who have read my about me page on my blog, you see I have a colorful past.
However, I have been attempting to re-invent myself and it seems that no matter what I do there are so many challenges among my path… however it’s time for the black cloud to be burst, and this year regardless of how it started off.. It will be different!
I have a new game plan, and thanks to GIN a new set of rules. Now I know how to keep score and how to win the game of living the life you desire.

And even though on some fronts, I make more money than most, and live a life style that many envy… I haven’t worked for anyone else in over 15 years and counting… however in order to maintain all that I desire, I understand that I am 100% responsible for the results in my life and this year I am committed to realizing my goals – and this blog will be a road map riddled with many nuggets as to how to have the best life possible.

Goal planning has never been my strong suit, and follow through is also a bit of a challenge. However still I persevere on, and since I’ve joined The Global Information Network (GIN), I am learning more and more about how to truly create wealth. This is a wealth club spearheaded by 30 billionaires that had a hell of an opportunity on the table that I truly screwed up however more on that later.—in any event GIN teaches to always look for the silver lining in any event.. good or bad..

Very simple in theory but very challenging when something that you worked extremely hard crumbles and falls. Financial independence is very near to my heart. Who doesn’t want true financial independence?
However also as the best saying goes… if it is going to be, then it is up to me…
